1. Paralysis in the legs, wing and neck
2. Lameness
3. Weight loss
4. A grey pupil in the eye
5. Blindness.

Marek’s disease is prevented by vaccination

INFECTIOUS BURSAL DISEASE ( IBD): 

These poultry diseases conditions is also known as gumboro, it’s also highly infectious

Symptoms

1. Loss of appetite
2. Whitish watery poop
3. Weight loss
4. Paleness, droopiness and huddling

Infectious bursal disease can be prevented by vaccination

NEWCASTLE DISEASE (NCD):

Symptoms

1. Coughing and sneezing
2. Respiratory distress and nervous disorder
3. Laying down in young birds
4. Abnormal positioning of the head (twisting)
5. Death occurs within 3-4days.

HEAT STRESS

Symptoms of heat stress poultry condition

1. Dropping or spreading of wings
2. Panting (opening and closing of the mouth).

Treatment of heat stress is to allow proper ventilation into the poultry pen.

DIARRHEA

FOWL POX

Symptoms

1. Dry pox: decrease in weight gain

2. Dark brown/yellowish like lesions on the head

3. Wet pox: lack of appetite

4. Nasal and occular discharge.

CHRONIC RESPIRATORY DISEASE (CRD)

Symptoms

1. Coughing and sneezing
2. Decreased feed intake
3. Low body weight.

WORMS

Symptoms

1. Worms in the birds poop.
2. Low feed conversion rate.

INFECTIOUS CORYZA

Symptoms

1. Sneezing
2. Swelling of the face.
